Briony is Senior Deputy Head at Sherborne Prep School.
Before moving into the teaching profession, Briony graduated with a BA(Hons) in Music and Psychology from the University of Exeter, worked for The Wombles (yes, really!) and then spent a very happy five years working for Comic Relief.
It was after this, and teaching in the state sector for a couple of years, that Briony developed an interest in special educational needs. Briony has a particular drive to understand an individual pupil's profile and how best to support them finding the best version of themselves. Responsible for the academic pathway at the School Briony has a keen interest in the science and research behind teaching and learning to help ensure pupils are as engaged and motivated as possible in the classroom.
