Our medieval buildings, including the Abbey that we use for services and concerts and two castles, bring a profound sense of history. The honeyed buildings of the high street house a range of independent shops and some chains: they provide the perfect setting for the town’s many festivals, including an annual music festival at the Abbey and the popular Sherborne Literary Festival.
