Buzzy children, a warm community and standout grounds in our beautiful Abbey town are of course wonderful (and you really must visit to understand), but we enjoy several unique factors that we like to see as the Sherborne Prep Difference.
Cross-curricular days each term and see the school come alight with a sense of excitement, anticipation and an all-in approach from staff and children alike. It is commonplace to see teachers egged on with dressing up, joining their choir, and participating in a tug-of-war competition, never mind parents diving in too, combining to take on the children...
Colour runs, Earth Days, Shakespeare Days, Book at Breakfasts, creative writing events, and in 2024, a mere 25-day trips! Not to mention the academic curriculum which follows the Pre-Senior Baccalaureate (PSB), encouraging children to develop collaboration, independence, and communication amongst other key skills, they truly flourish in their learning.
Our academics are always strong and ambitious and our Co-Curricular just keeps on growing! Bouldering, orchestras, gymnastics, boxercise, swim squads, tennis (among many others) - on top of all sports, music, drama, extra academic subjects - no wonder everyone is exhausted at the end of each term!
