Mr V shared his passion for contemporary art as an accomplished artist rather than as our Head of Art last week. Mr V visited Sherborne School's History of Art club to give a talk, followed by a painting workshop after supper.
Mr Pomichal, History of Art teacher, said,
I loved the way Fernando weaved ideas about contemporary art generally, and nature and the environment, into his talk and work. It is the big ideas that matter, and this was a unique opportunity for boys to escape the curriculum straitjacket.
