A full day of sportsmanship coloured the Lower Paddock with House colours of red, yellow, blue and green!
As our day of racing, throwing and jumping began, the sun graced us all with its warmth and vitality. The Nursery children took to the track with their eggs and spoons and Pre-Prep leapt over the finish lines in sacks and over hurdles.
After a Prefect-led warm-up, the Houses paraded onto the field with a lap of the track before settling into their House areas.
The events were wonderful to watch and every child showed competitive spirit and mature sportsmanship.
The closing event - the Tug-of-War - was spectacular and got everyone cheering as parents were moved from their seats at the top of the Paddock to give words of encouragement to each team.
Every last ounce of energy was drawn upon and with just one point in it, Romans won overall - Trojans second, Normans third and Greeks fourth. It was so close!
