"Zebra after Stubbs"
This superb painting has been completed by Dominic during breaktimes. Dominic has resolved remarkably well the relation between the sense of space and background, using colour and texture to create depth.
George Stubbs was an English painter, best known for his paintings of horses. Self-trained, Stubbs learnt his skills independently from other great artists of the eighteenth century such as Reynolds or Gainsborough.
