This is an adaptation of Philip Pullman's wonderful novel of the same name. It is a magical fairy tale of a girl who is so driven to achieve, that she will do whatever is required to reach her dream of becoming a firework-maker, just like her father. Lila heads off alone on an epic journey, filled with dangers beyond her imagination. On the journey she will learn so much more than the one secret she set out to find...
Year 5 have worked so hard this week to pull together a mighty performance that has captivated their audience.
Special thanks must go to all the teachers who dedicated their time, energy and creative skills to supporting the children in their acting skills and line-learning, costume design and changes, and in constructing such a magical set. We know that at home, too, family and friends have supported them all this week and the result was spectacular!
