On Monday 13 June, Year 5 went on a wonderful History trip to Hooke Court to explore life in Tudor times!
Whilst there, the children participated in the Tudor schoolroom, enjoyed brass rubbing, made candles and cooked some wonderful cakes and biscuits in the Tudor kitchen, using spices from the New World!
It's safe to say that Year 5 enjoyed their Tudor Exploration Day very much indeed and enhanced their understanding of the Tudor period greatly!!
