Year 7 Science

Year 7s observed the loud and flashy 'Screaming Jelly Baby Experiment' to demonstrate the release of energy in our bodies during digestion.

The energy of this jelly baby was released in 5 seconds flat by dropping it into heated potassium chlorate (potassium, chorine and oxygen) and WOW what a reaction it was!

The jelly baby released all its energy in a bright flame and with lots of smoke!
