Hidden Heroes - Life Behind the Scenes.

For the next few weeks we'll be sharing a short video of a different member of staff to showcase the depth and diversity of their backgrounds, interesting facts and favourite moments. Plus, what led them to teach at the Prep!

Our wonderful teacher of Latin and English, Richard Pyman!

Richard joined Sherborne Prep in 2017 after a PGCE in Classics from King’s College, London. He previously worked in London, latterly being a director of two banks. He studied Latin and French at Pembroke College, Cambridge and has an MBA from the City University Business School. He loves cricket and played, mainly without success but with huge enjoyment, both for Cambridge and Dorset. He is a Trustee of the Arundel Castle Cricket Foundation, which helps underprivileged and disabled children through cricket (and kindness). He also loves horses and was an undistinguished point-to-point jockey. He lives in West Dorset with Corinna, a potter, and their three boys.
